ClayPaky Golden Spot HMI 1200 overflow!

During the restoration of the 3rd Golden Scan 3, and as I was thinking what would be the restoration project for this summer, an opportunity of saving lights appeared! And as it happened, they were of one of my favorite models, the ClayPaky Golden Spot HMI 1200. This one, together with Stage Light 300, are the most desired models, since I have first saw them from the brochures, and live in a club.

Golden Spots recovered, and saved from recycling!
Golden Spots recovered!

The only negative fact about this model, is its weight, which made it so difficult to load and unload. Other than that, its gobo palette and color filters, makes it in my eyes even better than the Stage Zoom.

These fixtures are the newest Clay Pakys of my collection, as they were made on 2006.Their condition is good, but as usual, they are going to need a full disassembly and clean before entering my collection!

Thankfully, I have experience with this model, as few years back, I have maintained two of them for a friend. This time of course the detailing will be at the highest level!

With the photo and video material that I will collect, I will create a dedicated page, showing all the details regarding this beautiful, artistic fixture!

Stay tuned!

A full disassembly needs to be performed first, for proper, and detailed cleaning.
